The Montessori Method of Education
The Montessori method is a carefully prepared concept of working with children, within an orderly prepared environment that allows them to behave freely and spontaneously to carry out their own activities and learn at their own pace.
The method was developed by the scientist, Maria Montessori, the first woman doctor in Italy who established the first nursery school and applied her method ‘Casa dei Bambini’. Her main principle is love and respect for children, which means to intentionally act in a way that shows young children that they are worthy of your time and attention. This will promote optimal development and learning.
Dr. Maria Montessori’s method of education is based on children careful observation to discover their individual needs and interests. She was a great innovator and she was always aware that education methods need to be rethought and developed as fast as society changes.
Montessori created ideal environment full of opportunities for children to experiment and initiate their own education.
منهج مونتيسوري التعليمي
يعتمد منهج مونتيسوري على العمل مع الأطفال ضمن بيئة تعليمية مصمَّمة بإتقان لتسمح لهم بالتصرف بكل حرية وتلقائية وتسمح لهم بالقيام بنشاطات من اختيارهم ليتعلَّموا بالوتيرة المناسبة لهم.
طوَّرت العالمة ماريا مونتيسوري هذا المنهج، وهي أوَّل طبيبة أنثى في إيطاليا، وافتتحت أول مدرسة مونتيسوري “كازا دي بامبيني” (Casa dei Bambini) أو أوَّل دار للأطفال. يعتمد مبدأها الأساسي على الحب واحترام الأطفال، وترى أنَّه يجب التصرف عمدًا بطريقة تظهر لهم أنَّهم يستحقون وقتنا واهتمامنا، ما يعزِّز النمو والتعلم الأمثل لهم.
يرتكز منهج مونتيسوري التعليمي الخاص بماريا مونتيسوري على الملاحظة الدقيقة للأطفال للكشف عن احتياجاتهم واهتماماتهم الفردية. كانت السيدة مونتيسوري مبدعة وكانت تعي أنَّ مناهج التعليم بحاجة إلى إعادة النظر فيها وتطويرها لتسير على وتيرة واحدة مع تطور المجتمع.
ابتكرت ماريا مونتيسوري بيئة تعليمية مثالية تحمل فرصًا كبيرة للأطفال للاختبار والاكتساب.
Procedures and Regulations
Bringing children to the nursery
Children should arrive at the Nursery before 08:00 a.m. The Nursery door will be locked at 08:00 a.m. To ensure that the Nursery’s environment is quiet and orderly, parents are kindly requested not to accompany their children inside the Nursery. However, they can make an appointment to visit the nursery after school hours. The Principal or the Teacher-in-Charge will be available to meet parents to discuss any inquiries or urgent matters.
Collecting children from the nursery
For security reasons, children can only be collected by one of their parents, guardians or authorized persons. A special authorization form needs to be filled and submitted to the nursery’s administration in advance. Telephone authorization can exceptionally be accepted.
Children should be collected between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please contact the nursery in case of any delay so that we can inform in advance a responsible member of our staff to stay with the child.
School meals
The School will provide the children with two balanced meals each day and one snack. Please do not send any sweets or drinks, it will upset other children and disrupt the school system.
Birthdays
Birthdays are very special occasions at Baakline Montessori Nursery. All children participate in singing and playing musical instruments, making the event an enjoyable one. The nursery will be pleased to organize birthday celebrations. If your child has an upcoming birthday, please notify the Nursery at least two days prior, to discuss the arrangements.
Outings and day trips
The Nursery will from time to time arrange outings to places of special interest. We will inform you in advance to obtain your approval.
Nappies
The school will accept children with nappies who have started their toilet training and the Nursery staff will continue this training with them.
Missing materials
Please be aware that any material with a missing part will be removed from the children’s use until the part is replaced. Searching for and replacing missing parts takes an inordinate amount of time and effort.
Any small object you may find in your child’s bag or pockets, regardless of how insignificant it may seem or whom he says gave it to him, should be returned to the nursery.
Admission
Baakline Montessori Nursery accepts children between 2 months and 4 years of age.
Parents are invited to make an appointment to visit the nursery and discuss their children’s requirement and enrolment procedures.
الإجراءات والأنظمة
احضار الأطفال إلى الحضانة
يجب احضار الأطفال إلى الحضانة قبل الساعة الثامنة صباحًا. سيتم اغلاق الباب عند الساعة الثامنة تمامًا. يُمنَع مرافقة الأهل لأطفالهم إلى داخل الحضانة وذلك حفاظًا على الهدوء والنظام فيها. إلَّا أنَّه يمكن أخذ موعد لزيارة الحضانة بعد انتهاء ساعات الدراسة فيها. سيكون المدير أو المعلم المسؤول متاحًا للقاء أولياء الأمور لمناقشة استفساراتهم أو أي أمور عاجلة.
اصطحاب الأطفال من الحضانة
لأسباب أمنية، وحدهم الوالدين أو الأوصياء أو الأشخاص المفوضين يمكنهم اصطحاب الأطفال من الحضانة. يجب ملء نموذج تفويض خاص بذلك وتقديمه إلى إدارة الحضانة مسبقًا. يمكن الموافقة في بعض الحالات على أخذ الإذن عبر الهاتف.
يجب اصطحاب الأطفال من الحضانة بين الساعة الثانية والنص والرابعة من بعد الظهر. الرجاء ابلاغ الحضانة مسبقًا في حال حدوث أي تأخير من قبلكم حتَّى نتمكَّن من توفير أحد الموظفين لرعاية الطفل
الوجبات المدرسية
ستوفر المدرسة للأطفال وجبتين متوازنتين كل يوم ووجبة خفيفة واحدة. من فضلك لا ترسل أي حلويات أو مشروبات، فهي ستزعج الأطفال الآخرين وستؤثِّر على النظام المدرسي.
أعياد الميلاد
أعياد الميلاد هي من المناسبات الخاصة جدًا في حضانة مونتيسوري بعقلين. إذ يشارك جميع الأطفال في الغناء وفي لعب الآلات الموسيقية، ما يجعل المناسبة أمرًا ممتعًا لهم. سيكون من دواعي سرور الحضانة تنظيم أعياد الميلاد. أعلمنا قبل يومين من حلول عيد ميلاد طفلك لنتمكَّن من اجراء الترتيبات اللازمة لذلك.
النزهات والرحلات
ستنظِّم الحضانة من وقت لآخر رحلات إلى أماكن مميَّزة. سنبلغك مقدمًا عنها للحصول على موافقتك.
الحفاضات
تستقبل الحضانة الأطفال الذين بدأوا تدريباتهم على استخدام المرحاض وسوف نواصل تدريبهم حتى يتخلصون من الحفاضة.
اللوازم التعليمية المفقودة
يرجى أخذ العلم أنَّه عند فقد أي جزء من الألعاب أو اللوازم التعليمية ستتم إزالتها من استخدام الأطفال حتى يتم استبدال الجزء المفقود. ويستغرق البحث عن الأجزاء المفقودة واستبدالها وقتًا وجهدًا كبيرين. لذا عند العثور على أي قطعة صغيرة في حقيبة أو جيب طفلك، وبغض النظر عن أهميتها أو قوله أنَّ شخصًا ما قد أعطاه إياها يجب إعادتها إلى الحضانة.
القبول
تستقبل حضانة مونتيسوري بعقلين الأطفال بين شهرين و4 أعوام. ندعو الأهل الكرام إلى أخذ موعد قبل زيارة الحضانة للاطلاع على شروط تسجيل أطفالهم.
